we have really being trying to work on kindness around here. With two boys 16 months apart there tends to be a lot of staking ones claim, asserting oneself...well, you get the picture. i have taken to letting the boys have some "together" playtime during quiet time IF they are able to remain civil. the odds are generally about 50/50.
today, i realized that about 25 minutes had gone by with total silence. no arguing, no injuries...just silence. right about the time i decided to check on my two boys...james quietly came into my room with a huge grin on his face and said, "mommy, come here! we have something to show you!"
i followed...not sure what i should be preparing myself for exactly.
i was met with this:
a gigantic floor puzzle that is VERY difficult, fully put together by james and ben david as a TEAM! they were so proud, and i was too. it was a neat blessing from the lord...a glimpse of what my hopeand prayer is for my boys in their relationship. thank you lord for this sweet moment!
