i have long since given up on keeping caroline out of the dishwasher. she is DETERMINED to be right there with me..."helping."this might actually be one of her favorite past times. and truthfully...she is a help! after i make the inital quick grab to rescue the silverware and coffee mugs, she is quite content to hand me the other items one at a time. you have to keep up though, because if you aren't there in time for the hand off, she will toss the item on the floor and move on to the next one. this little one is busy, busy, busy....but lots of fun!! :)

This so reminds me of Miles! He's had the same passion - -still does. The hinges on our dishwasher have bent so far that the door no longer holds the bottom rack in... but how could we say no to such an eager helper? :)
